Banda
Banda is one of the more practical alternatives to Bweyogerere for fans who want to remain on the eastern side of Kampala.
The neighbourhood sits west of Kireka along the Kampala–Jinja corridor. From Banda, the usual approach is to join Jinja Road towards Kireka and continue towards Namboole.
Allow approximately 10–20 minutes in ordinary traffic, although the journey can become considerably longer during peak periods.
Banda also gives visitors relatively easy access to Kyambogo, Nakawa and central Kampala, making it useful for travellers who plan to combine AFCON matches with business or sightseeing.
