HOW BIG IS THE GAP BETWEEN YOUR MATCHES
24 hours
Not a safari window
One night between matches leaves no usable buffer. A single delayed transfer puts your next kick-off at risk. Use the day close to your host city instead.
48 hours
Possible Carefully
Workable only with a short road transfer, a single lodge and a fixed return time the morning before match day. No internal flights on the return leg.
72 hours
Several good options
Three days open up real game viewing with a full buffer day before your next match. This is the sweet spot for a match-gap safari.
4 – 5 days
Regional movement works
Enough time to cross a border or fit gorilla trekking with recovery time. We still never end a safari on the same day as an important match.
Every trip is built in the same six moves
Match. Your fixture is the fixed point. Everything else moves around it.
Buffer. A clear half- or full-day after the match, before any transfer.
