3 Days Semuliki National Park Safari is a fantastic trip that will take you to western Uganda in the Bundibugyo district on the border of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This park is an extension of the Ituri rain forest which supports the wildlife that cannot be found in other parts of Uganda, the park also has a combination of savannas which encourages the flourishing of the wildlife. On this safari, you expect to track chimpanzees, visit the western escarpment of Lake Albert where you will enjoy the boat cruise, bush elephants, buffaloes, and flying squirrels, and visit the famous Sempaya hot springs.
TRAVEL ITINERARY

On this day, our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel/airport, he will greet you, take you through the itinerary and then hit the road to Kampala via Fort-Portal road, lunch will be served in Fort-Portal Uganda’s tourism city, and thereafter, hit the road again to Semuliki arriving in the evening, check-in the lodge and thereafter, you will visit Sempaya hot springs which splash geysers 2 meters high with a boiling temperature of about 103 degrees c.
The evidence here is that you can place eggs or bananas in about 10 minutes they will be ready for eating, thereafter, you will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Arise in the morning for a scrumptious breakfast, enjoy a scrumptious breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking. You will be given a guided ranger, who will help you to locate the chimpanzees, as you search the chimps, you will be meeting different wildlife like elephants, buffaloes, duikers, and sitatungas, Meet the chimpanzees, spend an hour with them and return to the lodge for lunch and in the evening, head to Lake Albert for a boat cruise.
You will have a stopover for a scenic view of the western escarpment, take pictures, and then proceed to the Lake for relaxation and to enjoy the aquatic life. Expect to see hippopotamuses, crocodiles, and birds, and retire to the lodge in the late evening for dinner and overnight.

You will start your day with a delicious breakfast and head to the jungle to catch animals when they are still very active. You will meet herds of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, baboons, monkeys, and squirrels among other species.
You will return to the lodge in the midmorning, check out and embark on the road to Kampala. Lunch will be served in Fort Portal and then head to Kampala thus marking the end of your 3 days at Semuliki National Park Safari.
