THE APPROACH

A family safari is not a softer safari. It is a more carefully sequenced one. We design routings that protect young attention spans, respect mobility ranges, and still deliver the gorillas, the lions, and the rivers in their full force.

Four operating principles

HOW WE DESIGN

01

Pacing for children

Mornings front-loaded with wildlife. Afternoons buffered with pool, lodge, or quiet exploration.

02

Private vehicles

No shared game drives. Stops, snacks, and bathroom breaks happen on your family's timing.

03

Quiet luxury lodges

Family suites, interleading tents, and properties that genuinely welcome children — not merely tolerate them.

04

Curated guides

Guides selected for patience and storytelling. Younger children get junior ranger briefings; teens get the unvarnished ecology.

  • Multigenerational groups (3 generations)

  • Families with children aged 6 and above

  • Parents seeking depth, not a theme-park safari

  • Private celebrations — milestone birthdays, anniversaries

Designed For

  • Families seeking budget group departures

  • Children under 6 (gorilla permits restricted)

  • Itineraries with daily long-haul transfers

Not Designed For

Sample Itinerary

A representative routing — every journey is built to client.

Day 1 – 2

Arrival · Entebbe & Lake Victoria

Private transfer to a lakeside estate. A quiet day of pools, gardens, and a sunset boat — recovery before movement.

Day 3 – 4

Queen Elizabeth · Wildlife in measured doses

Charter flight south. Two morning game drives buffered with afternoon pool time. Boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel for hippo and elephant in close quarters.

Day 5 – 7

Bwindi · Gorillas, on family terms

One adult permit per parent. Children join community walks, blacksmith visits, and a junior ranger forest briefing while adults trek.

Day 8 – 9

Lake Mburo · Walking & horseback

Uganda's only park where you can walk and ride alongside zebra and eland. Low-stakes, high-delight wildlife for younger members.

Day 10
