4 Days Murchison Falls Wildlife & Chimpanzee Safari
Tour Overview
The 4 days safari will explore the northern part of the country. It will take you to Uganda’s largest conservation area for an encounter with the beauty of the pearl, wildlife like lions, leopards, buffaloes, and giraffes and a cruise on the Victoria Nile. Hike to the top of the falls and witness the mighty Murchison falls fixing in a 7-metre gorge and plunging at 45m. You will also do chimpanzee tracking in Budongo forest.
TRAVEL ITINERARY

Our driver guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe after your breakfast. You will drive northwest for about a 5-hour road drive to Murchison Falls National Park.
You shall make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will have a nature walk at the home of the rhinos in Uganda to encounter these endangered species and other wildlife like antelopes and a variety of birds on foot. Have lunch near or at the sanctuary camp and proceed with the journey to the magnificent park. On reaching, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After your early morning breakfast, go out on a game drive on the northern banks of the River Nile. On the drive through the different tracks, you will encounter wildlife like Hartebeests, Oribis, Lions, Hippos, and giraffes among others. You will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, take a boat ride on the Victoria Nile whilst viewing reptile animals, such as Hippos and crocodiles, plus numerous species of birds. The boat cruise will take you to the foot of the mighty Murchison Falls offering great photographic opportunities as you marvel at nature.
Then head the top of the thunderous falls, where you will have beautiful and up-close views of the mighty Murchison falls. Your driver guide will pick you up and take you back to the lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Have an early morning breakfast, transfer to Budongo forest for chimpanzee tracking. The forest in one of the largest and oldest in East Africa and is part of the larger Murchison Falls Conservation Area, including various species of primates that inhabit this forest like the Black and white Colobus Monkey, Red tailed Monkey, Baboon, Grey Cheeked Mangabeys among others.
After your tracking, return to the lodge have lunch. Later do a sun downer in the evening to explore the Lake Albert delta point under the African sun as it sets.

Enjoy your breakfast and after hit the road for your way back to Kampala. You will have a stop in Masindi for lunch and continue with the journey reaching Kampala in the late afternoon. The guide will take you to your hotel or drop you at the airport if you have an exit flight.
